Prudential Beneficial Insurance Launches 7th Annual Child Education Program in Cameroon
Prudential Beneficial Insurance is set to host the seventh edition of its highly anticipated Child Education Program (CEP) on August 23, 2025, at the Djeuga Palace Hotel in Yaoundé. The event, themed "A Better Future Through Education and Finance," is a cornerstone of the company’s broader Back-to-School Campaign.

The CEP 2025 will bring together more than 260 young people, aged 14 to 18, for a full day of comprehensive training. This year’s program is designed to equip students with essential skills for a competitive world, focusing on two key areas: financial literacy and personal development.
Empowering Tomorrow's Leaders
Participants will gain practical knowledge on fundamental financial concepts such as saving, budgeting, and investing. The session will also introduce them to career opportunities within the finance sector, highlighting the importance of financial intelligence from a young age.
The personal development segment, titled "Smart Choices for a Better Future," will empower students to make informed academic and life decisions. Topics will include self-discipline, goal setting, and long-term planning, laying the groundwork for a successful and confident future.
Adding an interactive element, the event will feature engaging Q&A sessions and intellectual games, with participants having the chance to win vouchers for school supplies.
Nationwide Back-to-School Support

The Child Education Program is just one part of Prudential Beneficial’s expansive Back-to-School Caravan, which kicked off on August 20 in Douala and will continue in Bafoussam, Yaoundé, and Limbe. This nationwide initiative will see the distribution of essential school supplies, including bags, books, and pens, to children across the country.
A significant highlight of this year’s campaign is the provision of a 30,000 FCFA supermarket voucher to each grandchild insured under the PruBellvie Education Plan. This support is intended to help families purchase school items and ensure a dignified and confident return to school for their children.
Certificates will be awarded to all participants at the conclusion of the event, celebrating their commitment to personal growth and education.
"We believe that early exposure to financial and career education lays the groundwork for confident, responsible, and successful future leaders," said a representative from Prudential Beneficial Insurance. The CEP reinforces the company’s mission to champion youth empowerment through education, aligning with its core philosophy: "For Every Life, For Every Future."
